According to the report from the West Azerbaijan Province’s Central Broadcasting and Television Agency, the Pioneer Entrepreneurs Foundation of Basij organized the “Tathriya” Innovative Event at Urmia University Campus in two sessions, morning and afternoon. During the event, the top 10 innovators of West Azerbaijan presented their initial project proposals to attract investment.
In the afternoon session of this innovative event, 9 provincial companies will present their technological needs in the areas of production enhancement and addressing constraints to attract innovative companies.
Colonel Rezvani, the Executive Deputy of the West Azerbaijan Martyrs’ Basij, referred to the role of the Basij in safeguarding the revolution and its achievements during the inauguration ceremony of this innovative event. He stated that the Basij Guardians have the duty to intervene and act as a driving force wherever there is negligence and underperformance. After removing obstacles, they need to facilitate progress, which aligns with the purpose of this event.
Mr. Dehghan, the Director-General of the Economic Coordination Office at the West Azerbaijan Governorate, emphasized the interaction between industry and academia as an essential aspect. He regarded the organization of the national “Tathriya” Innovative Event as highly impactful in this regard.
The Commander of the Basij Student Organization of West Azerbaijan and the representative of the Pioneer Entrepreneurs Foundation of Basij in the province also emphasized the importance of promoting knowledge-based economy and technological problem-solving as the top priorities of the “Tathriya” national innovative event. He stated that aside from technological problem-solving, the event focuses on providing technical support and introducing problem solvers, forming a three-pronged approach that they are determined to support in the province.
Mr. Khorsandi, the Deputy Managing Director of the Pioneers Basij Cooperation and Technology Holding, also spoke during the inauguration event. He mentioned that one of the key goals of the “Tathriya” national innovative event is justice-centered resource distribution. They intend to hold this national event in 20 provinces by the end of the year.
