Research Projects of Artemia Techno Co
Since 1994, research has been conducted on the biological, ecological, and high-density cultivation of Artemia in tanks ranging from 1000 to 5000 liters.
Since 1997, continuous research has been carried out on the ecosystem of Lake Urmia.
Since 2002, research has been focused on the application of various stages of Artemia growth in the nutrition of sturgeon larvae, rainbow trout, marine fish, and shrimp.
Since 2008, Artemia cultivation has expanded to earthen ponds in the provinces of Khuzestan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, and Kerman.
Since 2011, ongoing research has been conducted on the processing of cysts and biomass of Artemia.
Memberships and Executive Projects of Artemia Techno Co
Since 1997, the implementation of 50 national, provincial, and university research projects related to Artemia and Lake Urmia has been underway.
Since 2000, the establishment and equipping of the Artemia and Aquaculture Research Center (the largest Artemia research center in the world) has been initiated.
Since 2006, over 200 scientific articles have been published in reputable international and national journals.
From 2006 to 2002, participation in the international project “Artemia Biodiversity” as the representative of the Middle East and Central Asia with financial support from the European Commission’s research sector.
Since 2007, the establishment of the Iranian Aquaculture Scientific Association.
From 2013 to 2002, organizing 10 international conferences and workshops related to Artemia and Lake Urmia.
Since 2010, permanent membership in the International Artemia Study Group based at Ghent University, Belgium.
Since 2019, the signing of contracts and collaboration for the transfer of technical knowledge regarding Artemia cysts processing with countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Turkey.
Since 2021, membership in the founding members and board of trustees of the World Artemia Consortium.
